Sunset Cove (2 or 3* bedroom) lakefront cabin WITH PRIVATE POOL - Douglas Lake - Smoky Mountains

It's hard to describe the view from this lakefront getaway. Situated on a beautiful cove overlooking the main channel of Douglas Lake, this home has it all! How about a private in-ground swimming pool overlooking the lake? You can lounge for hours here! In addition there is a private dock, private boat ramp (good for smaller boats), outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill, and horseshoe pit. Plenty of parking for your boat trailer. And don't forget to end your day stargazing while relaxing in the poolside hot tub. And this is just describing the outside!

The cottage is one of our most popular lakefront rentals. It features lake views from almost every window. Inside you will find a beautifully decorated lake house with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths that sleeps 7 on the main level. Each of these bedrooms has its own private deck, TV and bath. 400 Thread Count sheets provided on the king bed, queen bed, queen sleeper sofa and hideaway bed.

*If you need to sleep up to 9 guests, there is an optional separate entrance bedroom that can be purchased for an additional nightly rate making this a 3 bedroom 3 bath home. No expense has been spared for this "Spare" bedroom that would rival any hotel room. The luxurious queen bed is richly flanked by beautiful end tables and lamps. There is a 2 person checkerboard game table and satellite TV with DVD. Also featured in this sweet suite is a foosball table, mini-frig, microwave and coffee pot. There is a full Private bath as well making this a great refuge for a lucky someone in your party. If you need the extra space, please inquire about the additional cost.

Going back to the main level of the home, you can enjoy the large screened in porch overlooking the water. This area is great for reading, relaxing, and napping.

Cozy wood burning fireplace in large family room with Big Screen TV. In fact, there are 3 TV's in this part of the house, all with their own satellite and DVD. This home has wireless High Speed Internet Access. Bring your wi-fi ready computer and you are connected. There is a Pool Table and darts in the open family room offering hours of fun for the family.

If you can break away from all the fun and cook, there is a full stainless steel kitchen completely outfitted with dishwasher and Jenn Aire. Large Laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.

Sunset Cove is conveniently located to several marinas by land and by sea (Lighthouse Pointe and The Pointe) which offers boat and jet ski rentals. Douglas Lake is also close to action packed Pigeon Forge, Dollywood Theme Park, Sevierville, Gatlinburg (with Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort), The Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show, Ripley's Aquarium, ATV Rentals at Bluff Mountain, Helicopter Tours, NASCAR Amusement Park, Miniature Golf Courses, several 18 hole golf courses, Bass Pro Shop, and Hundreds of Hiking Trails located in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. That is, if you ever leave the house!
